Meet the Team
At HopeSetters Autism Center, our Administrators and Teachers are dedicated to ensuring that each and every child, regardless of their spectrum level, reaches their full academic potential.
Administrators

Mrs. Baaba Enchill
Mrs. Baaba Enchill is a trained Secretary and a married woman with two beautiful girls. She pursued and attained the required education to enter into the teaching profession as an educator. She acquired a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Montessori Training, and specialized in Special Education, specifically Autism and its related Intellectual Disabilities. In order to further her education, she obtained a diploma in the Basics of ASD and participated in training programmes such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Picture Exchange Communication and basic training in Sonrise programme. She is a member of Autism Society of West Africa (ASWA) and has been participating in the ASWA conference since 2011. She is also a member of Autism Society of Ghana (ASOG).
In 2008 she volunteered at Autism Awareness Care and Training (AACT) in Accra, Ghana. After a couple of years, she became the Administrator at AACT. After five years at AACT, she noticed the growing need for a special needs school in the Tema metropolis. In 2013 she established HopeSetters Autism Center (HAC), a Non-Governmental Organization, to provide respite and education to persons on the spectrum in Tema.

Mrs. Rachel Andoh
Mrs. Rachel Andoh is trained in Marketing, and after working in the financial field for so many years her passion for children led her to pursue a course in Early Childhood Education and obtain a Diploma Certificate. She is a married mother of two young boys, with whom she spends her free time. She is quite adept in providing motherly care for the kids at HopeSetters.
She decided to work at HopeSetters after meeting Baaba, the founder, at an early childhood training program she attended. She has been working at HopeSetters for the last two years. Her primary motivation for doing so is her love for working with students living with disabilities, be they intellectual or physical. At HopeSetters, she primarily performs administrative duties, and loves to see the childrens' progress. Her most notable moment was when one of the students at the Center with a speech impairment succeeded in calling her by her name.
Teaching Staff

Victoria Nyarko
Victoria is a 21 year old facilitator from Eastern Ghana. She works with Apple class and likes teaching social skills. She chose to work at HopeSetters because she loves children and has a passion for her students. She also enjoys helping people in general.



Manuel is a 24 year old facilitator from Tema, Ghana. He teaches Apple class and enjoys leading imitation exercises, art and especially loves teaching sign language to one of his students, Selete. He likes working at HopeSetters because of his specific passion for working with children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Blessing Owusu
Blessing is 26 years old and is from Agyenkwa, Ghana. She works with Pear class and likes singing with her students. She chose HopSetters because she hoped to gain experience working with children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She loves her students with all her heart.
Emmanuel Asamoah
Emmanuel is a 21 year old teacher from Tema, Ghana. He teaches Pear class, and likes practicing motor skill activities with his students. He joined HopeSetters becasue working with children is his passion.



Esenam Tsitsia
Esenam is a 25 year old special needs facilitator from Tema, Ghana. She loves practicing self help skills, basic arithmatic and language exercises with students in Banana class. She chose HopeSetters because she has a strong passion for children, and believes all children deserve an excellent education. She wants to tell parents of special needs children that all students have a bright future.
Grace Ara Nyarkoah Kwarteng
Grace is a 20 year old teacher from Tema, Ghana. She works with Banana class, and leads all classes in arts and crafts exercises on Fridays. Her love for art and the students drives her creative teaching style. She chose to work with HopeSetters becasue she loves children and she believes in the name of the Center and in its efforts to bring hope to both parents and students.
Jennifer Sam
Jennifer is 21 years of age and is from Bethlehem, Ghana. She teaches Grape class, and likes playing ball games with her students. She likes working at HopeSetters because the small class sizes allow her to work closely with her 2-3 students.

Fred Oppong
Fred is 21 years old and is from Community 7 in Tema, Ghana. He is a facilitator of Pear Annex class. Regarding his interests, he enjoys puzzle games, playing ball and practicing art with his two students. He likes HopeSetters becasue teaching children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder is his passion.

Churcher Sogah
Churcher is an 19 year old teacher from Tema, Ghana. She especially loves working on Fridays because the students dedicate the day to art, which she loves to practice with them. She loves working with all of the students in Grape class, and is enthusiastic about coming to work each day.
