Our History

HopeSetters Autism Center opened its doors in 2013 as the only center of its kind in the Tema community. The center operates as a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO). Following years of experience at Autism Awareness Care and Training (AACT), Mrs. Baaba Enchill was encouraged by her former employer, Mrs. Serwah Quaynor, the Founder of AACT, to establish a center in Tema, Ghana.
HopeSetters Autism Center addresses the need for education for persons living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Therapy services such as behavior management, speech and language, and grooming skills are provided. HopeSetters has since grown to include programs that promote advocacy, awareness, and training, which are empowering and enriching the lives of those in the Tema community.
If one can't learn the way we teach, we teach the way one learns

Our Vision
Our main goal is to see persons living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), regardless of their spectrum level, living as independently as possible by using innovative ASD educational approaches. We hope to eliminate the myths and discrimination that are associated with ASD.
